Hanging-Leaf Place Cards
We have here an example that shows that leaves hanging in midair
make the perfect place cards. Created from different colored
papers, this foliage was affixed to a box –shaped screen made of
nearly transparent tulle. As guest entered the event they
plucked their cards off the screen in a delightful twist on the
traditional. The treelike topiary was decorated in glowing reds,
yet its branches were semibare. The entire effect worked on the
subtlest of levels, communicating the idea of autumn’s falling
leaves in an original and indirect way.
