Candlelight
Candlelight is one of the most wonderful ways to transform
the mood in a room. Perhaps the popularity of the warm glow
of candles is due to the fact that candlelight flatters
everyone. Candles create a romantic magical mood.Flickering
candles remind one of the twinkling of starlight, but
there’s a warmth to them as well, evoking the age-old
associations of fire with life-affirming heat, hearth, home,
and protection. And, of course, candles are spiritual.

Lighting for a Wedding
Aisle
Here is an interesting wedding-aisle décor. In this example of
wedding-aisle lighting, tapers were used along the aisle. The
overhead lighting was kept quite dim, making the uplighting of
the archway and arrangements that much more dramatic.
Large, tree-size candelabras lavishly
decorated with primrose, grapes, lilacs, and viburnum were
placed along the aisle, each with an assortment of electric
taper candles topped with miniature lampshades. The result is
that the candlelight is placed high enough that it seems to
float.
